Our Three Pillars

About English Education

A Natural Bilingual Environment: Valuing Both English and Japanese
At all our nurseries , English is not limited to designated class times. Native English-speaking teachers are part of our full-time staff, allowing children to be naturally exposed to English throughout their daily routines—during play, lunch, and other moments of the day. However, we don’t enforce “English only” or “Japanese prohibited” rules. We believe it’s important for children to express their feelings clearly in their native language while also enjoying the process of learning English. We’ve created an environment where children can effortlessly acquire English while also strongly supporting the development of their native Japanese. This balanced approach nurtures children’s compassion, expressiveness, and communication skills.
Please be assured that even children with no prior English exposure will gradually develop their English proficiency through daily life at our nurseries. To lay a strong foundation in English, we also offer the following activities.

Circle Time
All of our classes participate in two daily English sessions, held each morning and evening, led entirely in English by our international staff. These engaging sessions are a fun and natural part of our daily routine, where children enjoy conversations, learn new vocabulary, and sing English songs and dance.
Everyday English
With native English-speaking staff on site, children are exposed to English not only during lesson times but also throughout their daily routines. For example, when they discover something new during a walk, our staff will teach them the English word, and soon enough, the children will start using those new words themselves.
Our environment encourages children to start speaking English naturally—without pressure or force—by making it a part of their everyday life.

English Art
At each of our nurseries, we regularly hold “English Art” sessions led by Ms. Irina.
These sessions incorporate principles from Waldorf education, using picture books, songs, dance, and craft activities to help children express themselves freely through art, all conducted in English.
English Rhythmics
This fun, movement-based program helps children become familiar with English as they move their bodies to music and rhythm alongside a native English-speaking teacher.
Through songs and hand games, children naturally absorb the sounds and rhythms of English, developing an “English ear,” rich expressive abilities, and a strong foundation for open-mindedness and curiosity about the world.
