Our Educational Philosophy
At Child Land Group, our core educational philosophy is to foster compassionate hearts and international awareness. During childcare hours, children are immersed in a bilingual environment, using both Japanese and English in their daily routines. In particular, our international staff are present in each nursery throughout the day, ensuring that children have constant exposure to natural English.
In addition to English, we further expand children’s potential through a variety of activities led by qualified instructors.

Voices from Our Staff

K.N., Part-time Nursery Teacher
At my previous workplace, I had concerns about differences between the nursery’s policies and my own approach to childcare. Here, I feel at ease working in an environment where children can play freely and each child’s individuality is respected through flexible childcare practices. I am also very grateful that I can balance work with caring for my family, thanks to the current work arrangement, which allows part-time work within my household allowance and flexible hours on weekdays. The nursery has plenty of picture books that children can freely pick up and explore. While some get damaged, it’s a sign that the children are fully engaged and enjoying themselves.

Y.Y., Nursery Teacher
At my previous workplace, I spent most days buried in paperwork. Here, however, we work together as a team to coordinate shifts, ensuring that there is enough time dedicated to completing necessary documents. The environment, where staff can communicate actively with one another, also makes it easier to work comfortably. Although our nursery does not have a playground, we all come up with creative ways for children to play freely and energetically. Additionally, paid leave is easy to take, which allows me to maintain a good work-life balance.

C.K., Nursery Teacher
At my previous workplace, I faced challenges with differences in nursery policies and a lack of teamwork. Here, the open and cooperative environment among staff allows me to work without feeling isolated. I can also balance work and family life, as the nursery responds flexibly when a child suddenly has a fever. Some of the playground equipment and supplies have a lot of history, but I find it rewarding to use them carefully while working together to improve the quality of childcare.

E.K., Center Director
Previously, I didn’t find much fulfillment in my role as a childcare assistant, but here, I genuinely enjoy my work and feel fulfilled every day. The best part is the positive relationships among staff, where everyone supports each other. The nursery is understanding of staff who are raising children, and the flexible response to sudden absences makes it easy to balance work and family life. While we have many senior staff members, the environment allows us to coordinate our schedules smoothly, which makes working here very comfortable.

R.M., Nursery Teacher
At my previous workplace, I felt a mismatch between the nursery’s educational policies and my own approach to childcare. Here, I am able to provide care that pays close attention to each child. Communication among staff is easy, and I appreciate being able to learn different approaches to childcare from my colleagues. One challenge is that the time available during working hours can feel short compared to the amount of paperwork, but paid leave is easy to take, allowing me to enjoy a fulfilling private life as well.

Sudip Bhattacharyay
(English Teacher)
I was previously bothered by having too much sales target and not having enough study time. My current workplace atmosphere is really calm and very good. The good points are that it’s very fun and interactive, and full of energetic and joyful people. Currently, my work-life balance is very good. After work, I have time to do my own work.

F.H., Staff Nurse
Previously, I struggled with rigid work schedules and difficulty taking time off. At my current nursery, my employment type, working hours, and leave requests are all accommodated in detail, and the strong sense of teamwork among staff allows me to work with peace of mind. Even my part-time work that fits within my husband’s dependent status is fully supported, and all staff are aware and considerate, so I never encounter any problems.

M.D.H
(English Teacher)
My previous job had many bad experiences, but my current workplace makes me so happy I’ve almost forgotten them. I used to feel demotivated and disrespected, but now I feel safe. My colleagues respect each other, and as a foreigner, I’ve never felt any discrimination. This school has become my comfort place, and the workplace is very understanding.

N.O., Part-time Nursery Teacher
At my previous workplace, I sometimes faced challenging or uncomfortable interactions with colleagues, but at my current nursery, the positive atmosphere among staff allows me to work in a supportive environment. I also appreciate the flexibility in work arrangements, which makes balancing my responsibilities much easier. The nursery has some older toys that have been used for many years, but we take care of them, repair them when needed, and come up with new ways for children to play, making childcare a collaborative and creative effort.

A.T., Center Director
I do not have experience working at other childcare facilities, but one of the strengths of this nursery is its supportive environment, especially for staff who are raising children. We help one another, and everyone’s ideas are respected, which makes it easy to try new approaches.
While our facilities may not be as extensive as those of large social welfare corporations or major companies, I have been able to continue working here while giving birth to and raising three children. This nursery allows me to balance my work and family life.
